Hi – happy weekend! Welcome to the Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge blog, brining you inspiration and enthusiasm for Waltzingmouse Stamps each week. We hope that you will find our samples so inspiring that you will play along with us.
We have some exciting news to share with you today. The Mischief Makers want to welcome Karin Åkesdotter. Karen has been a consistent participant in the WMS Sketch Challenge and her designs have caught our eye on many occasions.
My name is Karin Åkesdotter (Peppermint Patty) and I'm from Gothenburg, Sweden where I live with my very supportive husband Mikael and our sweet son Ted (2½). I’ve been doing arts and crafts for as long as I can remember; sewing, knitting, drawing, paper crafting, watercolor painting, clay work etc. I even chose this path for my career and studied arts and crafts with a focus on textiles for 5 years at the University of Gothenburg and since 1997 I've been employed, full-time, as a textile/needlework teacher at a junior high school. I love my work which is both inspiring and very creative, but I still love to come home and create on my own whenever I can find time for it!
I love Waltzing Mouse Stamps and I am super excited to be joining all the talented designers in the Mischief Makers’ sketch challenge team and hope that my cards will give you some inspiration.

To help motivate you, take a peek at the wonderful projects the Mischief Makers have for you today:
Are you ready to get started on your own creation? Grab your card stock, stamps and ink and create a card, tag, scrapbook layout or any paper project - just remember to include the basic sketch in your design. We ask that you use at lease one WMS image on your submission.We reserve the right to remove entries that do not comply with the guidelines as it is not fair to the players who do. Including WMS images on your project adds to the creative inspiration we gain each week from your wonderful creations.
Remember to post your projects using Inlinkz no later than 12:00 noon Central time on Friday, September 2, 2011. We will announce the winner of the stamp set and the new Top Mouse Award winners when the new sketch challenge is posted on Saturday, September 3. Please use a direct link to your project and feel free to enter as many times as you like!
You don’t have to have a blog to play along with the sketch challenge. If you upload your project to any on-line galleries or forums, please use the keyword of WMSC62. Better yet, why not upload it to your album in the Waltzingmouse Stamps Gallery?

Are you a BIG CHEESE? We have dedicated a special thread in the Waltzingmouse Forum (under ‘The Gallery’ topic) where you can let us know when you have uploaded a project to the WMS Gallery.
The person selected as the BIG CHEESE will receive a promotional code eligible for $10 off a purchase from the WMS Store and their project will be posted to a special Big Cheese album n the WMS Gallery. (Another great reason to post your projects in the WMS gallery.)
A new thread in the forum will be posted each Monday and a new Big Cheese will be chosen every Wednesday.
One last thing – If you don’t already have our Sketch Challenge Blinkie posted on your blog, we would be honored if you would grab the blinkie HTML code that may be found on the sidebar and find a place for it in one of your sidebars. Displaying it on your blog helps us spread the Waltzingmouse Challenge word.
