Challenge #45–April 30, 2011

Greetings!  Welcome to the Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge blog. We’re here each Saturday to bring you inspiration and enthusiasm for Waltzingmouse Stamps…that’s why you are here too, right?

This note will remain for a few weeks until we know everyone has had a chance to review the changes: We have recently instituted a small change regarding the requirements for the weekly sketch challenge.  Previously, we had no restrictions about the images you could use for the weekly Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge.  But since we all love Waltzingmouse Stamps, going forward we ask that you use at lease one WMS image on your submission.  Including WMS images on your project adds to the creative inspiration we gain each week from your wonderful creations.

Onward to this week’s challenge, but first, we are happy to announce the Top Mouse awards from last week’s Sketch Challenge.

This week’s Top Mouse awards go to:

Debbie Marcinkiewicz

Doreen Robertson

Challenge #42–April 9, 2011

Hello and welcome to the Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge blog. We’re here each Saturday to bring you inspiration and enthusiasm for Waltzingmouse Stamps.

Today, the Waltzingmouse Mischief Makers welcome a new mouse to the house– Kelly Schirmer.  Many of you know Kelly from the great submissions that she consistently posts to the weekly Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge.  Here’s a little about this creative lady.

Kelly“I have been married to my husband Jason for 10 years and we have 2 beautiful daughters Eva (7) and Claire (5). We live in a little town called Avon, which is about 25 minutes south of Rochester, NY. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with children ages birth to five.

I started stamping in 2002, when a co-worker "tried" to talk me in to buying stamps. I eventually did and stamped on and off until I discovered the challenges at Splitcoaststampers in 2007. I have had the privilege of being a Featured Stamper at SCS, and working on the Pink Persimmon Creative Team and with the A Muse Studio Catalog contract team. I am anxiously awaiting my first publication in PaperCrafts Magazine this August!  I discovered Waltzingmouse Stamps right after the first release because I just HAD to have that Earth Angel set that I saw Lynn Mercurio using!  I am beyond excited to be invited to be the newest Mischief Maker!”

We are excited to have Kelly join the Mischief Makers team as well!  Please take a moment, show Kelly some love and let her know how happy you are for her.

If you are ready to get this week’s sketch challenge underway, let’s begin with the Top Mouse awards from last week’s Sketch Challenge.
